The Most Wonderful Time of the Year

Fall is my favorite season. What's not to love? The best parts are:
  • sleeping with windows open and burrowing into the blankets on chilly nights.
  • picking out the perfect pumpkin in a field full of orange
  • the changing leaves, especially the beautiful maple tree in my front yard.
  • the brilliant blue skies that only come with low humidity--we never get them in summer
  • the kids shouting and laughing at recess at the school next door to my house
  • burning scented candles
  • eating soup on a chilly day
How about you? Any favorite things about fall?

To me the Fall is the time of reflection. I love that.

There are lots of things that I love about fall. Most of them things that we never get around to though. Mounding leaves and having the kids jump into them. Walking down a tree lined street with all the leaves rustling at your feet. Seeing the moon and start so clearly because of the lack of haze that you get in the summer. Usually I get to spend more time with Ambra in the fall. I don't like the runny noses that come with it though. Mom

The runny noses from fall colds, not from spending time with Ambra. HA!

I too love fall the best. Its such a relief from the heat and humidity of summer. And I love the cool crispness of it. But this year I've noticed the fabulous cloud formations-everyday when i drive to anna. for work at daybreak, i see beautiful rays of sun pouring through the billowing layers of clouds. They have been awesome.momabeam
